Camps I Clinics I Agility & Vertical Training
We’re excited to welcome you back for our 2026 Summer Series! This season, we’re offering a variety of one-hour camps focused on key skill areas including Setting, Defense, Ball Control, Serving, Serve/Receive, Hitting, Blocking, and Match Skills, along with the debut of our all-new Youth Sports Clinic for any young kiddos looking to try out a variety of sports.
Our All Skills Camp is now a three hour clinic run by PJVBC’s top coaches.
To support complete athletic development, we’re also introducing dedicated Agility and Vertical Training classes.
To better accommodate our high volume of participants across all ages. All summer programs will be separated by Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced skill levels within each camp. We will have all four courts running and athletes will be separated based on knowledge of the skill and mastery of form that is being taught in each camp.
This structure ensures that each player receives the appropriate level of training to maximize growth and development.
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Setting
In this camp athletes will learn the skill of setting. Setting is the skill of delivering a controlled ball to a hitter and run the offense of the team. Areas of focus in this camp are footwork, hand placement, and appropriate setting tempos.
Serve/Receive
This camp focuses on footwork, body position, and proper angles to achieve the ideal pass to the setter. Athletes will work on form, moving their bodies into the correct position, and reading the serve.
Serving
This camp will focus technique, consistency, and zone serving. This camp prioritizes correct form. All athletes begin with working on a standing float serve and advanced serves once they have mastered the form of the standing float.
Hitting
This camp is designed to help players develop their overall skill by increase of power, improve technique, aiming, and learn alternative options and adjust to produce the most effective attacking choice possible.
Blocking
This camp will focus on overall technique, timing, reading the hitter, and pressing at the net. This camp will also focus on working with your partner blockers to communicate and seal any holes.
Defense
Defensive camps will focus passing form, adjustments to the block, and reading the opposing side's offense to provide the skills for the athlete to produce an effective pass to the setter. This camp focuses on all areas and positions of defense.
Ball Control
Ball Control Camp is designed to help athletes refine passing, setting, and overall ball-handling skills. Footwork, movement, and consistency are the focus of this camp to aid athletes in their overall skill development.
Match Skills
Match skills focus on communication, smart decision making, and court awareness in high pressure situations. Drills in this camp aim to put athletes in uncomfortable group scenarios that are common in a match that make or break a close game.

This Camp is an introduction to volleyball for beginners who are either brand new to volleyball or have played on a recreational or developing club team.
